SKATEWHEEL TRANSVERSE

On this 20-string zither, the strings are sounded by small wheels rotating against them for a friction sound. The wheels are spring-mounted so that in rest position they hover over the strings. With a single motion atop the wheels the player presses them down and rotates them against the strings.
